RUGBY
Rugby is a large part of the South African culture and at Beaumont we strive to instill a love for the game in all our boys. We believe that rugby teaches lessons beyond only the game itself and as such we strive to ensure that each player will be able to have fun, make new friends, experience the unique culture of rugby, and learn about participating positively in a demanding team sport.
Boys at Beaumont play rugby from an early age (u/7 – u/13). We play our matches in a league of fixtures against teams in the surrounding areas, but without a winner’s trophy for the top team at the end of the season. The boys also get the opportunity to take part in a number of tournaments for various age groups, and an annual sport tour for the A – teams.
With a strong focus on developing core skills from a young age we believe we are equipping our learners with the necessary skills, attitude and ethos to become a success both on the field and off.
