Our aim at Beaumont is to increase the number of children participating in the sport of tennis at all levels, from beginner to provincial levels, and to give all children an opportunity to play the game with confidence as well as being taught skills that can be used in all ball sports.

A love for tennis is developed from Grade 1 at Beaumont, under the guidance of Mr Pierre Montgomery as well as members of staff. On a Tuesday morning the advanced players receive coaching from Mr Montgomery before school. During the 3rd term the first teams tour to Mosselbay, where they play against various schools. In 2016 our boys drew for first place and our girls finished in second place.

The tennis teams are coached by Mrs J. Kruger (U/13 Boys), Ms M. de Wet (U/13 Girls and Tennis Contact), Mrs L. da Costa (U/11 Boys), Mrs T. George (U/11 Girls).
