2027 APPLICATIONS

IMPORTANT NOTICE

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOUR APPLICATION IS REGISTERED ON THE
WESTERN CAPE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT PORTAL.

Applications for transfer to Grade 2 to 7 (2027) opens on Monday 3 August 2026 and closes on Monday
17 August 2026. Applications for transfer to Grade 2 to 7 (2027) must be done via the WCED Portal.

Visit  https://wcedonline.westerncape.gov.za/admissions for more information.

The WCED strongly advises parents to register at more than one school.
This will ensure that parents at least have another possible option if the school of their choice does not have a place.

To apply, please follow the following steps:

Register on the WCED‘s portal – https://wcedonline.westerncape.gov.za/admissions

All applications MUST be entered on the WCED‘s online system.
This step is mandatory.

We strongly encourage parents to voluntarily complete Beaumont’s 2026/2027 information form.

 Take note:

There are no hard copies available for collection and no hard copies will be accepted at our office.

The specific application dates are determined by the WCED.

No applications are carried over to the following year. If your application was unsuccessful for a specific grade and
you wish to apply again for the following year, you must complete a new application as well as re-register again
on the WCED portal for the following year.
